📱 Account & Login

How do I create a FrendZo account?

Download FrendZo from the Google Play Store, open the app, enter your phone number, and verify with the OTP we send. Then pick an avatar, your gender, your date of birth, and your preferred language — you're done.

I'm not receiving the OTP. What should I do?

Check your network signal and SMS inbox. If it still hasn't arrived after 60 seconds, tap "Resend OTP". If the problem continues, email admin@frendzo.com with your phone number and the time you tried to log in.

Can I use FrendZo on multiple devices?

Each FrendZo account is tied to one phone number. You can sign in on a new device with the same number, but only one device can be active at a time.

How do I change my profile picture or avatar?

Go to Profile → Edit Profile → tap your avatar. You can pick from our avatar library at any time.

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 18 years old to use FrendZo. We verify date-of-birth at sign-up and remove any account found to be under-age.

📞 Calls & Chat

How does the random match work?

Tap the "Random Match" button on the Home screen. FrendZo finds another online user who matches your language preference and starts a call. You can skip and re-match any time.

Are calls really free?

The first 3 minutes of every audio call are free for all male users. Female users always receive calls at no cost. After 5 minutes, audio calls cost 15 coins/min and video calls cost 30 coins/min.

Why does my call sound choppy?

Call quality depends on your network. Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi (or vice versa) to test. If you're on a video call, switching to audio-only often fixes choppy connections.

Can someone see my phone number?

No. Your number is used only for OTP login. Other users only ever see your display name and avatar.

How many free messages do I get?

The first 20 messages in every new chat are free. After that, 1 coin per message.

💰 Coins, Gifts & Earnings

How do I buy coins?

Open Profile → Buy Coins. Pick a pack (₹59 to ₹19,999) and pay through Google Play. Coins are credited instantly.

I bought coins but they didn't arrive. Help!

Force-close and reopen the app — coins usually arrive within 30 seconds. If they still haven't appeared, email admin@frendzo.com with your purchase receipt and we'll fix it manually.

Can I get a refund on coins?

Refunds for coin purchases follow the Google Play Store refund policy. Coins already spent on calls or gifts cannot be refunded.

How do female users withdraw earnings?

Open Wallet → Withdraw. Once you reach the minimum withdrawal threshold, you can transfer your wallet balance to your bank account or UPI ID. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days.

What's the gift conversion rate?

Every gift sent to a female user converts into wallet credit. The exact conversion rate and minimum withdrawal threshold are shown inside the app under Profile → Wallet.

🛡️ Safety & Reporting

Someone is harassing me. What do I do?

Tap the menu icon on their profile or call screen and choose "Block" or "Report". For urgent issues, email admin@frendzo.com with the user's display name and the approximate time of the incident. Our team reviews every report.

Are my chats private?

Yes — text chats are end-to-end encrypted, meaning even FrendZo cannot read them. Audio and video calls are routed through encrypted channels.

Can I take screenshots of calls or chats?

FrendZo blocks screenshots and screen recording on both Android and iOS to protect everyone's privacy. Attempting to bypass this is a violation of our Terms.

What gets you banned?

Harassment, sexual content, sharing external contacts, impersonation, hate speech, or under-age use. Bans are permanent and forfeit any remaining coins or wallet balance. See our Community Guidelines for the full list.

⚙️ Account Management

How do I delete my FrendZo account?

You can delete your account permanently in two ways:

  • In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account → confirm.
  • From the web: submit a request here and we'll process it within 7 days.

Deletion is permanent. All chats, contacts, coins, and wallet balance are erased and cannot be restored.

How do I change my registered phone number?

Phone numbers cannot be changed once set. You'd need to delete your account and create a new one with the new number. Coins and wallet balance do not transfer.

How do I update the language I'm matched in?

Profile → Edit Profile → Language. You can pick a primary language and any number of additional languages you also speak.
